Chapter Six

James

I was thinking about my temporary agreement to dump Ukli. “She didn’t help me get back home, why should I care about her?” I thought. My phone was right in front of me. I reached out for it slowly, still thinking about my action. Then, I did it. “Hello, Lucy?” I said. “I’m going to dump Ukli today. Would you like to… Hang out after that?” Lucy was overjoyed. “Sure.” Lucy smirked.

Ukli decided to come over to my house to apologize for not coming back to save me at the honey-moon. When she arrived, she overheard my conversation with Lucy. “You know what, Lucy? I think you’re a much better person than before.” I smiled. “Really? You think so?” Lucy asked. “Of course! I mean, you saved me from losing my breath in the honey-moon.” I gave her an example. Ukli felt hurt, seeing me talking with Lucy happily after slamming her door in front of her own face. I caught Ukli staring at me just a minute later, then she ran away from my house as fast as she could.

Ukli’s eyes turned a little bit teary as she ran. She arrived at the church, where she wanted to kneel down and pray to ask God what she needed to do next. She found her favourite seat, and knelt down, putting her hands together near her heart. She bowed down her head, closed her eyes shut, and started to pray.

“Ukli, what are you doing here on a weekday?” The priest interrupted her prayer. Ukli explained what she heard at my house, and then the priest decided to pay me a short visit. He knocked at the door to see me answering it. “James, I heard you are planning on dumping Ukli.” He started. “Yeah, I am.” I said. “Change your mind.” He instructed. “Why should I?” I started to act rebellious. “That is because you promised to love her forever and ever.” The priest started to convince me to stop doing what I was about to do. He taught me that what I wanted to do was wrong, even if I already knew that.

I called Lucy after my lesson with the priest. “Hello Lucy.” I started. “Um… I just wanted to tell you that I want to cancel our meeting later.” I continued. “Why is that?” Lucy started to sound mad. “I got a visit from the priest, and I’m not going to dump Ukli anymore.” I scratched the back of my head. Lucy got madder and madder by the second; she didn’t know what to do, so she rudely hung up on the phone without thinking.

I wanted to call Ukli to tell her I was sorry, but I decided to do it personally. I walked up to her doorstep and knocked on the door. Mrs.Blabidiboo answered the door, and she knew immediately that I was looking for Ukli. “Ukli isn’t here. She’s praying at the church.” Mrs.Blabidiboo told me. I guess she was so sad that she went to the church to pray. I felt a tap on my left shoulder as Mrs.Blabidiboo slammed the door shut. I turned to see who it was, and it was Ukli. “Excuse me; I would like to get inside my house.” Ukli said. “Ukli, I’m sorry for planning to dump you.” I stared at my shoes. Ukli just patted my head, smiling, and then went inside her house. I knew it was a sign of forgiveness.

“What do I do? How do I get home?” Mr.Chickaboo thought, running back and forth. Ukli and her family did not know where Mr.Chickaboo was, and Ukli was really worried that he was lost. “Oh! I almost forgot there’s a GPS on his head!” Ukli remembered. Using the GPS Tracker, Ukli drove to wherever Mr.Chickaboo was, then she found him running back and forth on the sidewalk. She knew that he was just as worried as she was.

We wanted to build a new house for our children to live in. I paid some construction workers to build a big mansion. The construction workers were able to finish it in one day, and the results were wonderful. We started to pack our stuff, ready to move out. When Ukli wanted to walk out the door with her bags in hand, Mr.Blabidiboo grabbed her foot so tightly that she wasn’t able to leave. Mrs.Blabidiboo pulled Mr.Blabidiboo and let Ukli go to our mansion to live with me.

Mr.Blabidiboo cried so loud after Ukli left, even I could hear it, and to think that I was far from Ukli’s house!

When Mrs.Bearypoo grew older, she found a new mate. They got married, and Mrs.Bearypoo had a child. She decided to name her Ms.Poochipoo. After Ms.Poochipoo turned one year old, her father had a petling accident, and Mrs.Bearypoo had to take care of her child alone.

Ms.Poochipoo grew older by the day, and finally, she met Mr.Chickaboo. At the park, Ms.Poochipoo and Mr.Chickaboo met again, and they learned more about each other’s personality. Ms.Poochipoo came to like Mr.Chickaboo, and Mr.Chickaboo felt the same way.

That night, Wife heard lots of noises coming from downstairs. She decided to check on who was making the noise, and to her surprise, it was Mister Nuclear Bomb!

When Mr.Blabidiboo woke up in the morning, she found out that his wife wasn’t in the house. “Hey… Nobody’s shouting at me!” He started to smile. “That means Wife isn’t here!” Mr.Blabidiboo climbed up Mrs.Blabidiboo’s bed and started jumping up and down, rejoicing.

A few minutes later, Mr.Blabidiboo felt a little sick because of jumping up and down Mrs.Blabidiboo’s bed for too long. He decided to call the mansion, and I picked up the phone. “Good afternoon, this is Mister James Boss speaking, how may I help you?” I said. “Hi James, this is Mr.Blabidiboo. Could you tell Ukli to bring me to the hospital?” Mr.Blabidiboo asked me as politely as he could. “Why don’t you ask your wife to do it?” I raised an eyebrow. “She’s gone.” Mr.Blabidiboo had a wide smile on his face. “My mom is gone!?” Ukli overheard our conversation. “I’m coming!” Ukli told Mr.Blabidiboo. “No, that’s not why I wanted you to come here for!” He said, but Ukli didn’t listen to him and went to the car. She drove to Mr.Blabidiboo’s house as fast as she could, knowing that her mother was in trouble.

When she got there, she grabbed Mr.Blabidiboo by the hand, and then dragged him out of the house to find Mrs.Blabidiboo. “Come on, dad! We have to find mom!” Ukli looked worried. Mr.Blabidiboo decided to join the search, since Ukli wanted to find her mother so badly. “Hey, maybe Mister Nuclear Bomb has her.” Mr.Blabidiboo suggested. “What makes you say that?” Ukli asked in suspicion. “He kidnapped me last time.” He answered her. “Well, do you know where he would keep her?” Ukli asked another question. “Yeah, I remember the place where he kidnapped me.” Mr.Blabidiboo replied. “Lead the way!” Ukli gestured. Mr.Blabidiboo ran to Mister Nuclear Bomb’s house, as Ukli followed him from behind.

Ukli and Mr.Blabidiboo arrived at Mister Nuclear Bomb’s house a few minutes later, and then saved Mrs.Blabidiboo from being locked in a cage.

The next morning, Mr.Blabidiboo found himself being scolded at for putting yet another mouse in Mrs.Blabidiboo’s plants. Mr.Blabidiboo’s smile from the day before turned upside down, and he frowned for the whole day.

Mr.Blabidiboo’s break time finally came from doing all Mrs.Blabidiboo’s chores, and he decided to cherish it and read a newspaper. Nothing worked; he was still as sad as ever.

Mrs.Bearypoo and Ms.Poochipoo were talking about Mr.Chickaboo. “Mom, can I date him? Please?” Ms.Poochipoo begged for her mom to say yes. Unfortunately, it didn’t work. “No. Poochi, you’re still too young for a boyfriend.” Mrs.Bearypoo refused. Ms.Poochipoo was always the impatient little dog, so she didn’t understand why she needed to wait. Ms.Poochipoo kept repeating the phrase ‘My mom is mean!’ in her head.

Will Mr.Chickaboo and Ms.Poochipoo be allowed to be together?
